Poland’s right to life bill raises the question “What kind of life?”

Polish charities and NGOs that support disabled children have for years been urging the government to develop a state-supported comprehensive welfare system. Instead, currently, the wide range of therapies for developmental and learning disabilities are offered by 5,356 NGOs, because the scope of services reimbursed by Poland’s National Health Fund is either inadequate for the needs or inaccessible.
